Attendance is compulsory on all working days of the school.
No leave or absence is granted unless a written application from parents / guardian is submitted in advance with a valid reason.
All students are expected to report 5 minutes before the scheduled school time.
A minimum of 75% of the total attendance of the academic session would be necessary to appear for the final examination and promotion.
If a student fails to appear for any test, examination, practical, project work, he /she will not be given average, if application is not submitted before the commencement of the examination. No retest / re-exam will be conducted.
If a student is absent owing to illness for more than 2 days, the student must submit a leave application along with Medical certificate.
It may be noted that children will not be sent home even in an emergency with anyone who might come to pick during school hours without a written request from the parent or guardian. They should also inform the school telephonically.
Children will not be allowed to go to home during school hours. Parents are requested not to make any social engagements or Medical appointments during school hours. To ensure better discipline parents are requested not to send their children to school on the day they have any such appointments.
Parents are requested to ensure that their children arrive at and leave school punctually.
Any student who is late in attending school should bring with him/her a written application from his/her parent/guardian for late arrival. Strict action will be taken against habitual latecomers.
Managing self / school (discipline)
General Rules:
There is one fundamental school rule, that all students at all times will behave well and sensibly and show courtesy, consideration and respect for others
All School Rules apply to all students from the time they leave home for school until they have returned home at the end of the school day, or while taking part in any activity
organized by, or related to the school.
Students must take care of their belongings/ science equipments etc. in the school premises.
The school authorities will not be responsible for the loss of belongings. It is not advisable for the pupils to bring money or expensive articles unnecessarily to school. School does not take responsibility for lost articles, money etc.
Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones or any similar gadgets to school. The school will confiscate such gadgets.
No pupil is exempted from Games and Physical activities without a Medical Certificate of a registered medical practitioner.The period of exemption should be specified in the application signed by parents.
Spoken English is encouraged in the school and within the school premises. The students are expected to speak in English.
No student is allowed to give any kind of gift to the teacher. (Even on birthdays, children day, teachers’ day, Diwali etc).
Transport Rules:
Transport service is an optional service facilitated by the school for the convenience of its students. Kindly check transport form thoroughly before availing the facility.
The school bus facility is available to the students and cannot be expected or demanded as a matter of right.
Students availing the bus facility will be provided with a bus no, pick up and drop stop no. Generally the bus timings will operate within 5-10 minutes of the pick up and drop time. Parents are requested to adjust accordingly.
Any Change in the bus timings will be notified to the parent by the Transport Incharge.
Students will have to board and alight the school bus at the respective stops allotted to them only. The Transport Incharge reserves the rights to allot the stops.
Students while travelling on the school bus must maintain discipline. Any student guilty of misconduct will not be allowed to avail the bus facility.
No transport facility shall be available for other activities / events that school may plan on holidays / vacations.
Parents will not have any transactions / altercation / physical argument/ fight with the bus staff. Bus employees are not authorized to change/add bus stops.
The school has taken utmost care for the safety and convenience of the students. Any suggestions/ complaint regarding the transport service is to be made in writing strictly to the transport incharge and the same shall be entertained by incharge only.
No child will be handed over to an unknown person/ to anyone without the parent’s information in advance to school.
Please co-operate with the Drivers and attendants. It takes nearly two weeks to set the transport route. Hence, there is a possibility of mismatch of timings given to you at the
beginning.
